I WILL FAN AND GIVE MEDAL! If the current and the resistance in a circuit both double, what will happen to the voltage

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

wait...what are your choices for this one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt it double?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

stays the same doubles halves quadruples decreases by a factor of 4

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

I do believe it will double but let me double check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No yeah no...it makes sense that the voltage will double...doubling the resistance doesn't affect the voltage

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

but doubling the current does but hmm...doubling the resistance will cause a drop in current....but doubling the current will outweight that... Now I want to say stay the same ....grr

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So doubles?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

I'm between Doubling and Staying the same :/ sorry hun

Thanks, it's all good.
