Which development do you most expect the book to include as support for this detail? Well, first lets get rid some of the answer here... The government is probably not rationing to preserve goods... And not preventing unions from striking during the war...

So, that leaves us with, A, B and C. Yes, there was a increase in women labor during World war II. For the second one... I'm not so sure they stayed the same. For the third... Yes, war companies made more money during the war due to having to produce a lot more goods for the armies of the United states during World war II. So... That leaves us with either A or C. Which do you think?
