Math Problems Ugh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kx2bay

OpenStudy (happpily):

hiii how did you do that screen shot o.o?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let us choose (3, 2). The point (3, 2) on the smaller corresponds to (6, 4) on the larger polygon. Thus, x and y coordinates were both doubled during the transformation. now go for it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x is doubled y is doubled x is shifted right by +1 y is shifted up by +2 so what is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my answer above is for the smaller to the larger, you'll need to reverse it for the other war around

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D and thts my final answer lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's it! D is D

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Is this a test?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no not exactly it w homework but never got a chance to do it

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Why does it say "submit test"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

damn... skull you too observant man, I didnt' notice this is a test :) are we allowed to give answers for tests or wont be honest?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

If the user wants to cheat himself out of learning math that is his business imo :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess that is so, no one can stop it, the user can crop the picture to show only the required part of the question without the test bits...

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Honestly trying to learn is one of the hardest things to teach.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah thats sooo true

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Anyway, good luck @Starr_DynastyT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol well thnx and im a girl btw u always manage to call me a he or him thts crazy @skullpatrol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't see a sex reference "he" or "him" above, we used the term "user" which is unisex

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Sorry I did say "himself" :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yes, i missed that

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

If the user wants to cheat themselves out of learning math that is their business imo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a pretest which was my homework it will not affect my grade

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

It's Ok either way, it is your education.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's ok @Starr_DynastyT we believe you some users do their online tests here then the following day brag about the high score they got, which is what we are trying to avoid, we want the users to participate , understand and try come up with the right answers themselves, that way they become better students :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thank u for understanding but personally idk how u can brag about something u didnt earn or try to learn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good question, I dont know either but seen it on OS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if i become as smart as u all and be a moderator to help people i will recite the rules everyday before i help someone

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

As you go higher in math your weaknesses will show up, and by then it will be too late because the courses go so fast.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya thts true but ive actually been learning thnc to @kx2bay

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Continued daily practice is the best way to gain a skill.
