OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

According to the graph, what does the change in water temperature at approximately 1300 m represent? A. a cold current of water B. a denser layer of water C. a saltier layer of water D. a layer of freshwater

@bubbles-are-cool. @ajanijones

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

i think its A @GodGirl

@amistre64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not good at math srry

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

this is science btw

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

beween B and D

@alphadxg

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

i think b and d

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

B - from what I recall that is where it changes dramatically, give me a second to confirm.

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

okay

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

is it B???

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

I'm double cheeking hold on. @Abhisar

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

okay

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@cissabelle99 can u help ?

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

I was wrong, looks like it is D - Because the way the graph moves, notice its Depth vs Temperature. So when it does that curvy stuff, it a shift into a different water layer.

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

D

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

its B

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

is it B or is it D im confussed

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

because look at 1300 m water temp is almost 4 degree and at 4 c water has highest density so its D a denser layer of water

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Oops I worded my answer right, gave you the wrong answer lol.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Think about it, it's Temperature Vs depth - As it keeps moving down the only option to be reasonable and logical would be density. B is right.

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Agreed. I think it is B :)

OpenStudy (karategirl2002):

okay thank you i got more too so ill just meet you in the next one and hi @cissabelle99
