how does the carbon dioxide and water get into the leaf and how does the oxygen get out and where does the glucose go?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

stomata

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the glucose, or sugar, is food for the leaf, much like how humans have to eat carbs and sugar for energy. in the leaf, there are structures called stomata, where gas exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen occur. stomata is also where the carbon dioxide enters. the water is soaked up from the roots of the leaf
