Please just tell me if I'm right or wrong!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

The first one is incorrect

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

but the second one is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm... Let me try it again then... 9-0^2 = 9-0 = 9 < 0 (It's wrong, so it doesn't work out) 9 x=0 0=0 (correct) -4(0)+9 = 9 = 9>0 ( correct)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

That x < 0 is just telling you which part to graph

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it has nothing to do with the final evaluation

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

all you're doing is finding out if the limit exists (and if it does, which value is it)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jim_thompson5910 is it 9?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes, as x approaches 0, f(x) approaches 9

Thank you so much! A nice shiny medal for you! Do you think you can help me with a few more? I'll open a new thread so I can give you more medals!
