WILL AWARD MEDAL Which of the following represents the set of integers greater than or equal to -5? {-5, -6, -7, ...} {-5, -4, -3, ...} {-5, -4, -3, ..., 3, 4, 5} {all positive numbers}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5, -4, -3, ... This means it keeps going on increasing. C looks correct, but it's not. It's saying that it stops at 5.

OpenStudy (mrnood):

This is almost identical to a previous question here. You are looking for a set having only the integers >= -5 so - in the first option you have -7 (so can this be right?) in the second answer you have integers starting at -5 and increasing forever (the ... means continue) in the third option you have integers stating at -5 and increasing only as far as 5 (so does THIS contain all integers >=-5? 999 for example?) All positive NUMBERS contains ONLY positives (so does it contain -3 for example? (alos please note that 'numbers' includes real numbers such as +1.1, 1.33333,2.5 etc wheras integers are 'whole' numbers)

@greenlegodude57 is "B" going to be the answer to ALL the questions the OP ever has? If not then giving him the answer will not help in any future similar questions.
