Sin Equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if \[\sin \theta=\frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\] Which could not be the value of \theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. 225* B. 45* C.135* D. 405* Those are supposed to be degrees just bear with me! lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sinθ = sin(45)=sin(pi/4) more generally θ = n*(pi) + (pi/4)*(-1)^n where n is an integer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

225 could not be the value of theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

something useful to remember, in which quadrant each of the trig functions is positive C = cos A = All S = sin T = Tan |dw:1401517297458:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That graph is super helpful! thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

WELCOME :)

OpenStudy (neer2890):

@ kx2bay i think you should add these also in 1st quadrant : all are positive in 2nd quadrant: sin and cosecant are +ve in 3rd quadrant : tangent and cotangent are +ve in 4th quadrant: cos and secant are +ve
