How are multicellular organisms different from single celled organisms? What are the advantages of being multicellular?

@Ariana_Styles10 Multicellular (M) vs. Single cellular (S). Well, M organisms can have tissue and specialization. This allows both more processes and a more diverse range of processes to be performed concurrently in an organism. It also increases chances of survival by being able to explore multiple areas at the same time. Look at a motile bacteria in a liquid medium. It has to make a "choice" which direction to go and if it is wrong it may not make it back. A M might be able to explore two, three, or all directions at once. It also means M can take more damage. Kill a cell in an M and it could very well have 0 effect. 1 cell in the S is the entire S.
