it's A right?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
OpenStudy (anonymous):
plz explain why?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
For x intercept you need to find the distance from y axis

see which line is -6 away from origin or from origin count towards -6 along the x axis

I'm confused..I have to be honest

An easy way to find intercepts is to reduce any equation in the for x/a + y/b =1
for instance to 2x + 3y =12
In this case reduce the qquation to
2x/12+ 3y/12 = 1 (dividing by 12 on both sides
then it becomes x/6 + y/4 = 1 and intercepts are x=6 and y =4
now if suppose x= -6 then it is x/(-6) = 1 no y term so find a line which intersects x axis at -6
OpenStudy (anonymous):
-6 is a number btw -10 and -5
also x=-6 means
find -6 on x_axes then draw a parallel to y
