Quick question. Please help. Physical quantities can be classed as vectors or as scalars. Which pair of quantities are both vectors? A kinetic energy and elastic force B momentum and time C velocity and electric field strength D weight and temperature

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have worked out the answer as C. Am I right? @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (amistre64):

vectors have magnitude (strength) and direction

OpenStudy (amistre64):

electric field strength, what properties of that are magnitude, and what are direction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thank you. xD

OpenStudy (amistre64):

Just as a guess, im liking A ... but i cant verify that with anything substantial.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But energy is never a vector. >_<

OpenStudy (amistre64):

kinetic energy seems to imply movement to me. like i said, i could be wrong tho :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

some sites say kinetic is a scalar in newtonian stuff, but a vector in relativity ...
