Help?!?! You can have a medal!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is the review

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you wouldnt by chance know how to solve these two? @qdbug

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no nowhere near that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheOcean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh well i just did that on angles. i didnt realize those were circles. lol sorry. i just had a major brainfart. maybe you can look up 'How to calculate pi of circles'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you kno how to solve it? @TheOcean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thats ok, thx anyway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheOcean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi always equals 3.14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that @CelesteSelene13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dan815

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay so some basics, like you know that there are 360 degrees in a circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes...we can skip the basics I'm in high school

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay well do you know how many radians 360 degrees are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u mean like how many radii complete a circle?...My teacher taught us there are infinite radii and diameters

OpenStudy (dan815):

radians are another measure for angle, instead of in degrees its the more natural way

OpenStudy (dan815):

there are 2 pi radians in every circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm we i dont think we have learned that.....

OpenStudy (dan815):

if you multiply this measure of angle radians by the radius you will get the real arc length or the circumference anything u want

OpenStudy (dan815):

you have, like you know circumference is 2*pi * r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh yea ok, yes....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get that

OpenStudy (dan815):

that is the cae because there are 2*pi radians in a circle

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay now lets see how big the arc could be for 72 degrees for your given problem

OpenStudy (dan815):

lets do it a simple intuitive way if radians confuses you for now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so would u take 360 - 72?

OpenStudy (dan815):

|dw:1401832603846:dw|

OpenStudy (dan815):

whats the circum?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is 157.1 approx

OpenStudy (dan815):

ok its working now

OpenStudy (dan815):

are you good with these 2 questions now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think so! thank you very much! are this good at biology as u r at math?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to go...but when I'm back later would u mind if I tagged u with some problems?.... @dan815

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if ur online

OpenStudy (dan815):

no lol i dont know anything about biology not even the slightest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok well thank you very much for the math help!!! @dan815
