Help.
Three vertices of a rectangle are (–2, 1), (–2, –3), and (4, –3). What are the coordinates of the fourth vertex of the rectangle? A.(–2, 4) B.(–3, 4) C.(4, 1) D.(4, 3)
Have you considered graphing them and finding the fourth corner?
OOPS omg i just solved that one. wrong question lol
Which point is 6 units from (3, –4)? A.(–3, –4) B.(3, –2) C.(6, –4) D.(3, 10)
this is the correct one
@gotstylzz can u help?
@sweetburger
lemme see
Ok. Take your time
no clue sorry, @Hero can you help? ;)
@wolf1728
(–2, 1), (–2, –3) -2 appears twice in the x-position 4 appears only once in the x-position. There is a hint, here. (–2, –3), (4, –3). -3 appears twice in the y-position 1 appears only once in the y-position. There is a hint, here.
ok thank you
Well, counting appearances works only when all sides are parallel to coordinate axes. Generally, graph the three points and just LOOK to see where the fourth goes.
