One thing we have to keep in mind that weight of the rod is distributed with the hinge (Force H) and the force T but which one is greater is hard to tell, its most probably due to the length of the vector as @Somy said

the thing is that we do know that weight W is distributed throughout trapdoor so that means to maintaining the trapdoor in that horizontal position, H is taking some of its weight to kinda help it out/ support it to stay in horizontal position. So now we do know that W shares some of its weight with H and H already has some force also, thus its own force+some of W force =H so that means W will be less than H then if u look at it as a triangle, you'll see that the tension T is in hypotenuse position, so according to Pythagoras theorem we do know that hypotenuse is bigger then adjacent or opposite, the order will be W->H->T
