Which of the following correctly describes the relationship between the stolon and hyphae in fungi? Hyphae can grow to form a stolon above ground. Hyphae store the spores that are produced by the stolon. Hyphae are provided structural support by the stolon. Hyphae produce spores, and the stolon distributes them.

The first one

@ispike This is an absolutely horrible question. I'm a mycologist, and this is crap. Hyphae are the individual strands in a fungus (not chytrids and chytrid-like fungi though, nor monomorphic yeast). A stolon is simply a horizontal hyphae that expand the the fungus mycelium or connect two mycelium masses. It is not an issue of above ground in fungi, especially since many fungi do not even grow in the ground. Still, the other options are completely wrong.

so which one is it??
