I don't really know this but I can tell how to find the solutions to the equation
make 2 equations because 3x-6 is in an absolute value
3x-6>3
-3x+6<3
that's all I can do :/
OpenStudy (henrietepurina):
do you know anyone who can?
OpenStudy (henrietepurina):
please tag them then :)

aw dang :(
OpenStudy (anonymous):
this is an OR type inequality so you can split up this into two separate inequalities:
|3x - 6| > 3 can be split up into:
3x - 6 > 3 OR 3x - 6 < -3
solve both of these then you can graph them on a number line.
OpenStudy (henrietepurina):
-3x > 9
OpenStudy (henrietepurina):
or wait....
3x > 9 and 3x < 3
x > 3 and x < 1
amirite?

almost... the "and" should be an "or" so it looks like this:
x > 3 OR x < 1.
if you have the word "and" the solution would not make sense.
