can you check my answer?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

that's the right concept, but I'm not sure if it works out in the correct SI units... do you need it in standard (SI) units?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

they gave in mililiters and grams standard metric units are in kg/m^3 for density it just depends on what your teacher wants g/mL or kg/m^3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

she just wants the number she doesn't care about the unit

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

ok, then it's correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you i have more if you can check them if it's okay i'll open them in a new tb so you can earn medals if you want me to

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

na I have enough medals :P but I'm not all that good at this topic... if you want me to check anyways I will ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it depends because i don't want to like force you

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

psh you won't be forcing me to do anything xD I'm sitting at my computer at ur service :P now ask

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thank you!

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay! i got like 8 more btw

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

correct xP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

I'm confused... what did you math? ... I'm not good at visualizing this multi step problems .-.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

should i send you the picture?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yeah that might help :P

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

eh I don't know >,< sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about this ? Find the volume of a cylinder with a height of 6 meters and a diameter that is twice the measure of the height. Use 3.14 for pi, and round your answer to the nearest hundredth. 226.08 m^3 452.16 m^3 678.24 m^3 <--- my answer 828.20 m^3

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

correct ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this one idk the answer to

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

it's a cylinder plus a cone >.>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 36pi ft ^3? cause i got an answer close to that

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

volume of cylinder = (area of base) * height = pi (radius)^2 (height) radius = 2 height = 8.5 volume of cone = (1/3) (area of base) *(height) = (1/3) (radius)^2 (height) radius = 2 height = 13 - 8.5 = 4.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

112.76 is what i got but it's not in my answer choice

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

(2^2)(8.5) pi + (1/3)(2^2)(4.5)pi 34 pi + 6 pi = 40 pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i though i had to multiply them with pi

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

nope :P the answer choices had pi in them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay makes sense

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

they are asking for the length of the base, not the base the answer you're picking is the base

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be 8?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

square root 16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yep

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay okay i got one more

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP!!!! :D

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

you're welcome ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one that you said it was 4 i got wrong but its okay ^.^

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

aww sorry abt that :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i gtg bye!
