express (2 + 3 log(a) - logb)) as a single logarithm I understand the 3 log(a) - logb = log(a^3/b) but I dont understand how to get the 2 into the single logarithm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the base of this logarithm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

base 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if its conventional 10, then 2= log 100, so use this, log a+ log 100= log 100 a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh Ok i think i get it
