What is the solution to the following system of linear equations, using substitution? 3x + y = −9 2x + 3y = −13 A. (−3, −2) B. (−3, 0) C. (2, 3) D. (−2, −3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For both equations plug in the x and y values let's say x= -2 and y = -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So .. 3(-2)+(-3) = ? and 2(-2)+3(-3) = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you get -9 and -13 then it works and D is your wonderful answer

Thank you i can solve the rest on my own i just needed a refresher
