Need HELP, majorrr help! - What does the graph tell you about the domain and the range of the function? (attachment included of question and answers)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PLEASE does anyone know how to do this?

OpenStudy (candyme):

Ok so the domain is all he values of x that the line covers and the range is all the values of y that the line covers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (candyme):

Since the line starts where x=5 and goes on forever, your domain is [5,infinity)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and would range be (-infinity,2]???

OpenStudy (candyme):

Then the graph comes from forever and ends where y=2, making the range (infinity,2]

OpenStudy (candyme):

Yes sorry forgot a negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then ... what would the answer be because its none of them ???

OpenStudy (candyme):

Apparently this problem wants a general answer, so in general terms the domain is [-k,infinity) and the range is (-infinity,c]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhhh ok OMGOSH thank you so much i was literally going insane LOL @candyme

OpenStudy (candyme):

No problem! Glad I could help, I definitely know that feeling LOL
