im going to guess the third one but I am not sure. (:
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Ok, thanks for trying!! :)) @knsaunders
OpenStudy (jim766):
need to know A, the beginning point and B the ending point. Can you tell me what those are?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Point A (-4,6)
Point B (5 ,1)
@Jim766
OpenStudy (jim766):
right now the way you set this up, the ending point always goes on top
2 (-4, 6)
3 ( 5, 1 )
now multiply the 2 times the (-4, 6)
and multiply the 3 times the ( 5, 1)

2 (-4, 6) (-8, 12)
3 ( 5, 1 )
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Alright, so we have -8 and 12 and 15, 3
OpenStudy (jim766):
now you add straight down
2 (-4, 6) (-8, 12)
3 ( 5, 1 ) (15, 3)
- ------
5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
7, 15
OpenStudy (jim766):
2 (-4, 6) (-8, 12)
3 ( 5, 1 ) (15, 3)
- ------
5 7, 15
now to find the point , divide each coordinate by the 5

OpenStudy (jim766):
sorry, I said the right thing and did the wrong thing.
the end point needed to go on top
2 (5, 1) (10, 2)
3 ( -4, 6 ) (-12, 18)
5 (-2, 20)
--- ---
5 5
(-.4, 4)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh okay thank you!
OpenStudy (jim766):
sorry if I confused you
OpenStudy (anonymous):
No problem! I didn't see the mistake either, thank you so much!!
