I'm studying for my final right now and I just realized I have no clue how to solve the problem "Solve the expression: (x+8)(4x-9)=0" Can someone please explain how I'm supposed to solve something like this. Preemptively thanks -Matt

Solve for x maybe? Use this website, it might help! :) https://mathway.com

set each factor equal to zero and solve for \(x\) i.e. solve \[x+8=0\] and solve \[4x-9=0\]

Thanks again both of you
