@tHe_FiZiCx99 I have a question I either want you to check or walk me through. I'm going to see if I can do it first. ? :)

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Mk

What is the solution to the following system of linear equations, using substitution? 3x + y = −9 2x + 3y = −13 A. (−3, −2) B. (−3, 0) C. (2, 3) D. (−2, −3) Can you show me how to do it? I don't want an answer I wanna under stand it. Do any of them cancel each other out or something? @tHe_FiZiCx99

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Substitution is different. Solve for either "x" or "y". You can chose, tag me when you're done. FYI, it can be either equation you solve for.

@tHe_FiZiCx99 I believe the answer is C. :)

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Not quite.

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

I think you're messing up on the signs.

Phooey. :( Wait! I see where I messed up. I though it was 9 not -9. My eyesight is awful on this scree. :) I see, I get it now. :) @tHe_FiZiCx99 D?

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):
