I'd like to know how to do it so I can figure it out myself :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
To find the mean, you have to add all of them together and then take the sum of that and divide it by how many number (Not digits) there are. In this case, you have to divide it by 5.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yup
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Do you understand?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes, but how do I do that if I don't know all the numbers, and I already know the mean

Oh, sorry. I didn't see the whole question.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
it's ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
would I multiply 112 by 5? and then subtract all the other numbers?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Let me think...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
nope, that wont work

How about you try to divide the mean by 6 because there are six numbers (including the missing one), then take away all the other numbers?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh wait no, You would multiply, not divide. I messed up
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so x = 125?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think that's it!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yeah, me too! I'll check.
