4j/6 = 2/3 -- (this is a proportion, so we will cross multiply 4j(3) = (6)(2) 12j = 12 j = 1 check.. 4(1) / 6 = 2/3 4/6 = 2/3 2/3 = 2/3 (correct) j = 1
