Giving medals and fan....!Please help... Paul has a bag containing 10 marbles. Seven of the marbles are black and 3 of the marbles are blue. What is the probability of selecting a black marble if Paul already selected a blue marble without replacement? Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If Paul already took a blue one, that means there's 7 black ones and 2 blue ones left, meaning there's 9 total marbles. The probability of him selecting a black marble is the number of black marbles over the total number of marbles, or 7/9 If you type this into a calculator, it'll give you 0.777 as answer. Now, I'm not sure, but since you asked for probability, I'm guessing this number has to be a percentage, which becomes 77.77%

i was gonna say 0.77 or like he said 7/9
