Zack puts a mug of water in his microwave oven. He knows that the final temperature of the water will be a function of the number of seconds he heats the water. Zack names this function Temperature(seconds), and he abbreviates the name T(s). there are more than one answer to this question A. T(45) is the time it takes the water to get to 45^oC B.T(60) is the temperature of the water after 1 minute. C.T(15) is the temperature of the water after 15 seconds. (really need some help on this type of math problem, always had trouble with it)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what is the function? T(t)=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, the function is Temperature(seconds) "he abbreviates the name T(s)"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry , but i still don't know the function, is it T(s)=s^2 or what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or is the question asking you to derive it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess a better way of saying this would be, which of those accurately describes the situation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which of those answers, A, B and C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHHHHH, it's B and C, A is wrong!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thank you, hopefully I can understand this a little more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want me to explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I get it, I have another question and it will be my last question, may I type it on here or do I have to make a new question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no make a new one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
