in an isosceles trapezoid, the base angles are..
its either congruent, supplementary, complementary , or right
http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/triangles-interactive.html <--- click on "isosceles" notice the angles at the bottom of the two equal sides/legs
so whats the answer?
well... did you see anything particular about those angles?
@jdoe0001 like what?
|dw:1403134323590:dw|
so what are the base angles?
the so-called mislabeled base angles will be the angles on the other end of the same-length sides so |dw:1403134457129:dw|
those 2 angles made by those 2 sides/legs once they reach down will end up being equal to each other, or "congruent"
if you notice in the triangle at http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/triangles-interactive.html no matter how much you can try to any of the vertex, 2 legs remain the same, and the angles they make too
