I was wondering if anyone knew how to get youtube videos onto an mp3 without making them just for hearing, so instead of hearing I want to watch the videos on my mp3 how do I do this??

OpenStudy (davidusa):

im not sure, sorry

OpenStudy (davidusa):

first u should ask people to come to ur question in the chat, then u will have someone coming to answer. if u dont, then its useless in this dead section

OpenStudy (davidusa):

@olipop2002 @SolomonZelman @paki @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The mp3 format will not support video feed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does that mean wio?

OpenStudy (davidusa):

lol i just invited random people @Preetha @prowrestler @modphysnoob @Marco,Phillip

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats ok thank you for trying DavidUsa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have to try converting to mp4 or avi. Check if your mp3 video supports it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mp3 player supports it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok mine is an mp3 eclipse how do I find that out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.clipconverter.cc/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a specific version? I think you should try AVI first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok I tried a random video link and I put it in the box now what just download it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

click AVI then click DOWNLOAD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is what popped up when I put in the url YouTube Video High Definition (1080p), size: 79 MB YouTube Video High Definition (720p), size: 58 MB YouTube Video High Quality (480p), size: 24 MB YouTube Video Standard Quality (360p), size: 16 MB YouTube Video Mobile Version (3GP), size: 7 MB

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your media player is really small, so there is no need to support anything but the lowest resolution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok I downloaded it in AVI but, it just says thank you for using clip converter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't use that site... let me find a better one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, here is what I did...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mp3 lol thats old fashion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay flute... here is what you do: 1. Paste the link into the text box 2. Click convert 3. Select a resolution (probably lowest resolution is fine) 4. Click AVI 5. Click Start 6. Wait for it to convert 7. Click Download

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok I will try this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok it's downloaded how do I get it into my mp3 now? Right now it's in my computer downloads area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so can you connect the player to your computer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

already done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, the player show up in 'my computer'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you normally add music to the player?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I convert it, download it and then go to the downloads area in my computer and then I copy and paste it into my file which is the mp3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, you will do something very similar for the video.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok lets see what happens I am going to try that now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

usually there will be a 'video' and a 'music' folder... you want to put it into video folder if this is the case.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh do I paste the download into my video file or the one where I have my music?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok I did it! Do I now disconnect my mp3 and see if the video is on there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

disconnect and wait for it to refresh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean wait for it to refresh? you mean wait a while before I turn it on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, just wait a few seconds after you disconnect... then go to video folder

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG it says format error! :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, then you have to find the right format

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the model?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my mp3 is an Eclipse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but there are many of those... look for something more specific.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh um it says on the back of my mp3 ECLIPSE Portable media player and a website www.eclipsemp3.com

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go to audio players... it gives a list of models. then figure out which one is yours.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think mine is the fit clip plus but, mine is a mp3 that does not clip on like the photo but, it has the same like photo on the mp3 photo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya I think it's the fit clip plus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says in manual: • Supports the following Video formats: AMV video at 160x128 resolution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does that mean??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so can I (watch) videos on my mp3??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ummm, I heard that MP4 is compatible with AMv. Try mp4
