Which of the following points satisfies the inequality 2x - 3y < 1?

OpenStudy (neer2890):

points...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-2,1), (1/2,0), (2-1)

OpenStudy (neer2890):

so if the point is(-2,1) then x=-2 and y=1 put these values in your inequality and find out if it satisfies or not. for e.g., if we take (-2,1) 2x-3y<1 Put x=-2 and y=1 2*(-2)-3*1<1 -4-3<1 -7<1 we know that -7 is less than 1. so, it satisfies the inequality. like this check for the other two points

i just need an answer though, because i'm being timed

OpenStudy (neer2890):

just check for other two points. the points which satisfies your inequality will be your answer. for e.g., (-2,1) satisfies the inequality, so (-2,1) is your answer. just check If you have multiple options correct.

nvm.

i get it thanks
