@vexus it means

rishavraj (rishavraj):

\[x \le -6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm guessing its C?

rishavraj (rishavraj):

it means less than -6..and in option C it shows greater than -6

You must solve your inequality for x by obeying the rules of inequalities and take notice of the inequality, if it does not have the line on the bottom then it only means it is either less than or greater than and your circle on your graph would be "unfilled" because it excludes that number \[>\] But if it does have the line on the bottom as so, \[\ge \] The it means it is either greater than "or equal to" that number so your circle will be filled as it includes that number because the inequality says "or equal to"

Same applies for the less than \[< \] And the less than "or equal to" \[\le \]
