You know the saying "Divide and Conquer!"? Spanish only had to do the last part... Civil war between the half brothers that the empire was divided between after their father (the last real Incan emperor)'s death. However the Inca were also unprepared for Smallpox that were brought with the Spanish. But I think the Civil War is the answer they are looking for.

its either D or B

I'd probably say (B) and (C) are both true -- all the others are false. It's true that the Inca, and pretty much all Native Americans in North and South America, had no immunities to the diseases that the Europeans brought over. It literally decimated the Native population on two continents over the years. And it was this same disease that killed the previous ruler of the Inca Empire destabilizing it and sparking a civil war. The others don't hold up. While true that Pizarro captured the emperor and demanded a ransom, he didn't set him free -- he executed him. The Inca met the Spanish with 7,000 soldiers and the emperor didn't exactly trust them. He hoped to lure them into a trap (and didn't regard them so much as gods as some others have) but didn't realize just how advanced the weapons, armor, and tactics of the Spanish were compared to his forces. There was just no way for him to know. This also makes (E) completely false. The Inca were utterly outmatched by Pizarro's tiny force thanks mostly to technology and advanced tactics using horse and cannon.
