Which of the following is found in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells? A. Nucleus B. Cytoplasm C. Mitochondrium D. Chloroplast

OpenStudy (somy):

can u give ur choice? and reason

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Think about it: Differences between them are mainly that eukaryotic cells are more complex. Therefore, prokaryotic cells don't have a nucleus. Mitochondira aren't shared either as this is part of the endosymbiotic theory, which states that mitochondiras evolved from 2 prokaryotic cells in an endosymbiotic relationship. Chloroplasts are only in plant cells, so disqualify that. So you're left with cytoplasm. Do you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, I also just went and read a text which explained why it is cytoplasm.
