a 2 +4a+4=(a+2) 2 giving (a+2) 2 −b 2 and you get get (a+2+b)(a+2−b) because the difference of squares formula is a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)

a+2)^2 is also a^2+4a+4 if you foil (a+2)(a+2) and then add in that b^2 I forgot to make them exponents
