so first u solve the exponents so it would be 4 * 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What would be 4*4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

U have to solve the exponent. the exponent is 4 * 4... that would equal 16... ur new equation is 16x + 14x + 12.... next step is to add 16 and 14.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(4x^2+14x+12=2(2x^2+7x+6)\\=2(2x^2+3x+4x+6)=2[(2x^2+4x)+(3x+6)]\\=2[2x(x+2)+3(x+2)]\\=2(2x+3)(x+2)\)
