Example A: 2n + 3 = 13 Example B: n + 3 = 13 Which example is a one-step equation? How is solving a two-step equation like solving one-step equation? How is solving them different?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Example B is only one step equation because you only substract 3 both sides. n+3=13 -3 -3 The similarity can be that in both you're trying to solve for x.

lawl sorry for those spaces :P

Or trying to isolate x can be another similarity. And difference could be that you only do 1 step in one step equation lol.You don't need to do something else.
