Yellow lines separate traffic lanes moving in opposite directions. traffic lanes on one-way streets. roadways from shoulders. all of the above.
the first one i think
no its all of the above
i am sure of this
In Florida, Yellow lines separate two lanes of traffic going opposite directions (A two way road) I couldn't be C or D. because it is just not logical to put yellow lines on a road that only goes one way. with C being wrong, D is wrong. On the shoulder of the road, it is the white lines.
i am sure do u want me to defend my answer ?
Go ahead. I will show you my proof also.
http://www.123driving.com/flhandbook/flhb-pavement-markings.shtml a yellow line is a yellow line no matter broken or double btw
This is state road 582. Notice carefully that this is a four way road with double yellow lines separating the two directions of traffic. Notice also that this is the only area that shows yellow lines. Notice that the shoulder is a white line. All state roads and county roads in Florida are like this. Yellow lines are meant to separate traffic. As that particular link shows, the shoulder is the right edge of the roadway. therefore, it is white lines. and if there was any type of marks on a one way road, it would be because it is two lane going in the same direction, therefore it would be white.
also, in the diagrams from your link, the shoulders were all marked by white lines.
all you have is a picture i have a whol article so ya proving my point more and more
