Of which domains are the prokaryotes members ? A)Archaea and Bacteria B)Archaea and Eukarya C)Bacteria and Eukarya D)Bacteria.Eukarya, and Archaea @thomaster
Do you know the opposite of prokaryote?
Idk but wouldn't the answer be C) Bacteria and Eukarya ?
no, but we're not guessing answers here. Before you can answer it you need to understand the difference between the domains. In your last question I explained that Archaea and Bacteria are very similar, only a few genomic and biochemical differences. Bacteria and Archaea are domains. Eukarya is the a domain of the eukaryotes. Eukaryotes are much more complex than prokaryotes. For example humans are eukaroytic organisms. So you can say that prokaryotes are kinda the opposite of eukaryotes. So would prokaryote be in the eukarya domain?
It would be A) Archaea and Bacteria cuz prokarytoes are the opposite of eukaryotes
It would be Archaea and Bacteria because they're both prokaryotes, 1 celled organisms. Eukaryotes usually consist of more than 1 cells and are much more complex. Completely different thing. And since eukarya is in 3/4 answers, they can all be eliminated, leaving answer A.
