Can someone show me how to figure this out? If f(x)=2x^2-4x-3 and g(x)=(x-4)(x+4), find f(x)-g(x). 4x+13 x^2-4x+13 3x^2-4x+13 -4x^2-4x+13

well, (x-4)(x+4) is a perfect square, so we know that it is x^2-16 and from that we can simply subtract 2x^2-4x-3-x^2+16 = x^2-4x+13
