OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve for 1 of the variables from the first and replace it into the second or Vice Versa.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are two ways basically to do this kind of equations. They are: 1)substitution method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzyd_mIJaoc 2)elimination method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vA-55wZtLeE I hope this videos will help you throughout your problem and do not hesitate to watch these videos.

If you have any specific problems then you can ask.

4x+2y=20--->1 7x-3y=9--->2 make both x =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok suppose for example 4x+y=17--->1 2x+y=9--->2 multiply the secont equa with - 4x+y=17--->1 -2x-y=-9--->2 2x=8 x=8/2 x=4 substitute x=4 in euqa 1 4(4)+y=17 16+y=17 y=17-16 y-1 now substitute both x=4 and y=1 in equation 2 to check 2(4)+1=9 9=9

there are 4 steps to solve simultaneous equation if u dont understand any step then tell me
