HELP ME. YOU GET A MEDAL!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1/5y> -2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1>-10y => y<1/10

OpenStudy (igreen):

\(5 \times -2 =~ ?\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-10

OpenStudy (igreen):

You gotta divide 1/5 to both sides. But when dividing fractions you can just FLIP the fraction, and multiply by it's RECIPROCAL. Which gives you 5 \(\times\) -2.

OpenStudy (igreen):

That's correct. @usitdown

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5y>-2 y>-2/5

OpenStudy (igreen):

How does it become '5y'? @Law&Order

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks @iGreen i got it right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply one both sides because it is divind

OpenStudy (igreen):

No problem..
