Look carefully at the 3 points shown by dots on the x-axis of this graph. The rightmost dot is at (3,0); that is certainly one place at which f(x) = 0. If the question is still not clear, please ask questions and I'll then try to respond to them.

Yes. The zeroes of a function are where the graph crosses the x axis. That's right...where y = 0 and x is on the axis...those are your zeroes.
