Roger is playing a board game and rolls two number cubes. Let A = {the sum of the number cubes is even}, and let B = {the sum of the number cubes is divisible by 5}. List the outcomes in A ∪ B. { } {10} {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12} {2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12}

any ideas?
i remember doing this but i cant remember how to teach it or do it if that makes any sense and i know u wernt talking to me @amistre64
um no
would i need an equation in this case
not really ... youd simply need to know: what an even number is, what a number that is divisible by 5 is, and what a union is
which of these need to knows are giving you an issue?
i think it is the second response @amistre64
hmm, i dont agree, but can you tell me why you thought it was B? that way we can correct the mistake.
im thinking that you know what an even number is; and what a number divisible by 5 is ... but that you cant recall clearly what a union of the sets give us
when i think of a union, i picture having a bag of m&ms and a bag of skittles .... we unite them unto the same bowl by pouring them both into the same bowl. A union gives us all the elements of both sets together.
so, we want a union of the sets: {2,4,6,8,10,12} U {5,10}
So union would be the last response.
correct
Thankyou smm
