OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

@jim_thompson5910 here it is

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Why is the table all jumbled up?

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

That is how it came

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

ok I recommend you sort out the table first

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

How should I do that?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

sort the x values to get 1, 2, 3, ... as you rearrange the x values, make sure you keep the y value paired with that x value

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so basically you not only sort the top row, but you sort amongst the columns

10 ---> 50 50 ---> 250 250 --> 1250 what rule is applied each time?

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

Multiplied by 5

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

correct

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you keep going to get the 7th term

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

10 ---> 50 50 ---> 250 250 --> 1250 1250-->6250 6250-->31,250 31,250-->156,250

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

Thanks

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you are correct and you're welcome

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

Whooooo! Another Medal!

OpenStudy (mrnood):

As we ALL know - past performance is no indication of future performance when it comes to investments. There is no reason to suppose that Celine's habits will continue - it is not a natural process or inherent in anything other than a whim. It is dangerous to make predictions such as this from data such as this. Be warned
