Under what circumstances will light display total internal reflection? A.)light passing from a low-velocity medium to a high-velocity medium at an incident angle larger than the critical angle will be totally reflected B.)light passing from a high-velocity medium to a low-velocity medium at an incident angle smaller than the critical angle will be totally reflected C.)light passing from a low-velocity medium to a high-velocity medium at an incident angle smaller than the critical angle will be totally reflected
I think its choice C but im not 100% sure

Do u know what total internal reflection is ?
The total reflection of the light traveling from a medium with a high index of refraction at the boundary of a medium with low index of refraction when it approaches that boundary at or above the critical angle
So my answer would be B wouldnt it
When light rays travel from denser medium to rarer medium then it bends away from normal. If angle of incidence is increased then <r will also increase. At a particular value of <i, refracted ray subtend 90° angle with normal. In this case angle of incidense is known as critical angle. If angle of incidense is further increased then refracted ray come back in same medium. This is known as total internal refraction.

Velocity of light in rarer medium is greater than denser medium
So, the correct option should be A
Getting my points ?
Oh okay yes it makes more sense now thank you sir c:
Honestly ?
i dont have the full grasp of it but it does make more sense
