Why is Liza so upset at the beginning of this act? She made a fool of herself at the party. Higgins made a fool of her at the party by telling everyone where she was from.. She is afraid of what will happen now the experiment is over. She does not get to keep the jewels.

is their a story
what play or epic is this from?
pygmalion act IV
In act 3 Eliza, triggered by the topic of influenza spills out all sorts of embarrassing tidbits abut herself such as her drunk father, and she slips back into her old accent. Higgins is facisnated by her, but most of the party guests are appalled. At the end Mrs. Higgins asks what will be done with her, and this prompts Eliza to go into a rage at the beginning of act 4. She feels as if she's nothing more than a possession to Higgins, only as important to him as his slippers, and throws them at him because of this. Which answer this translates into, I am unsure of.
thank you.
you are very welcome. My best guess is the first answer, because all of this is caused by her regressive behavior. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.
