What provokes this response from Liza? "I sold flowers. I didn't sell myself. Now you've made a lady of me I'm not fit to sell anything else. I wish you'd left me where you found me." Higgins suggests that she get married to support herself. Higgins wants her to go back to selling flowers on the corner. Higgins treats her like an object. Higgins tells her that she looks ugly as she has been crying.

okay well if we look at the passage this response occurs during the exchange between Eliza and Higgins, when she says that Higgins values her no more than slippers. He retorts and says she is presumptuous and ungrateful to which she replies that no one has treated her badly, but expresses confusion of what will happen to her next. He suggests she get married, which she equivocates to selling herself, resulting in this response.
