wow direct to my "bad math" file questions written by moron math teachers to confuse students!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the x axis is given in terms of numbers (radians if you prefer) as it should be, but the answers are given in terms of degrees!!!

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

huh lolz i was frusted cuz of colors but the rest is not bad at all :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lord help you tell your math teacher this question was written by a fool who knows nothing in any case you are being asked where the graph crosses the \(x\) axis you can see it is at \(\frac{\pi}{2}+n\pi\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but for some reason you are supposed to say \(90+n180\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya thats what i dont get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really this will go right to the top when i publish my book of bad math questions sorry about your bad education, it is not your fault

OpenStudy (aum):

The technical term for this is: "units switcharoo".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just go with \(90+n\times 180\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or as they write \[90+180n\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks but how did you know it was that one though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because if you convert from radians to degrees, \(\frac{\pi}{2}\) converts to \(90\) and \(\pi\) becomes \(180\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thus forever confusing you if you work with numbers, numbers should be all you need, not "degrees" or "radians" or "dollars" or Fahrenheit" or whatever

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya i am learning this on my own through an online class with no teacher and i have figure out how to do it on my own half the time because it doesn't explain it very well...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah another scam, "on line learning" wish i had cached in on that one if you want to actually learn math, insist on going to and actual school with actual teachers there is no substitute

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do go to school im out for the summer but i wanted to get caught up on math so i took this online class to do it.
