.Do you think children should have more rules or fewer rules in the home? Why? 3.How would you deal with a situation of biting? Do you think your approach would fit into a “positive parenting” framework? Why or why not?

OpenStudy (jumperman):

Children should have enough rules to where they understand the difference between right and wrong. It is not a matter of how many rules you put down, it is a matter of what rules you set on your children.

like what

OpenStudy (jumperman):

Anything that is semihard, but also kind of soft. If it's a teething thing, then get teethers, if the children have a full set of teeth, I would find some object that is not harmful and does not hurt.

Describe positive parenting.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Positive parenting - sometimes called positive discipline, gentle guidance, or loving guidance - is simply guidance that keeps our kids on the right path, offered in a positive way that resists any temptation to be punitive. Studies show that's what helps kids learn consideration and responsibility, and makes for happier kids and parents.

OpenStudy (jumperman):

Yes.
