Someone please verify if I'm correct For f(x)=4x+1 and g(x)=x^2-5, find (f-g)(x) A.) 4x^2-19 B.) X^2-4X-6 C.)-X^2+4X-4 D.)6+4X-X^2 The correct answer is C right? From what I know it should just be (4x+1)-(x^2-5) Do I need to distribute the minus sign to (x^2-5)?

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

D is the correct answer don't be sad because there is -5 and - is also lying there so equation becomes 4x +1 -( x^2 -5) 4x+1 -x^2 +5 6 +4x -X^2 is the correct answer
